Angelica provides and services the latest in Microfiber technology needed to clean a room properly providing a Kit that includes:
  • Launderable Mesh Bag
  • Glass Cleaning Cloth
  • Surface Cleaning Cloths (2)
  • Dry Mop
  • Wet Mop
Each component is made of strong lint-free, ultra-fine split fibers which creates hundreds of thousands of microscopic channels to capture, absorb and remove dust and dirt.

A worker will use one Kit per room and then discard the Kit in the soiled linen bag in the room thus reducing the possibility of carrying contaminants to another area.  This provides for ease of distribution, improves cleaning, is easy to use, minimizes lost products and simplifies processes to manage infection control.  All equipment is available.




How to use The Angel Kit Cleaning System


To get started, take a complete Angel Kit™ into a patient’s room and remove the contents of the mesh bag.  Start with the green glass cleaning cloth…

  1. Glass Cleaning Cloths

    • Dampen GREEN glass towel with normal tap water, wring out excess fluid
    • Clean the mirror, window, taps etc. with glass cloth, no cleaner needed
    • Once surfaces are clean, place green glass cloth into mesh bag

  2. Surface Cleaning Cloths

    • There are two YELLOW cleaning cloths for your convenience
    • Use the YELLOW surface cleaning cloth with a cleaning agent, wringing out excess fluid
    • Clean and wipe surface areas like desks, tables, railings, window sills, etc.
    • Once area is clean and cloth is soiled, place it in mesh bag

  3. Dry Mop

    • Place dust mop on floor, ORANGE side down.  Press mop frame against mop so the hook and loop system fastens
    • Dust floors, beginning at far edge of room and proceeding towards the door in figure “8” pattern; pick-up any loose items on the floor with a dust pan
    • Place feet on each edge of orange dust mop and then pull up or rotate mop handle.  Once mop frame begins to pull away from mop, pick up and place dust mop into mesh bag

  4. Wet Mop

    • Proceed to mop bucket with a moistened mop head, BLUE side down.  Press mop frame against mop so hook and loop system fastens
    • Mop floor, beginning at far edge of room and proceed toward door in figure “8” pattern
    • Place foot on each edge of wet mop and then pull up or rotate mop handle.  Pull mop from frame and place into mesh bag

Once the soiled components of the Angel Kit™ are returned to the mesh bag and zippered shut, place it into the soiled linen container found in the patients' room.
