Angelica Continues Relief Efforts to Haitian Hospital |

BOSTON, MA, February 25:Angelica Corporation on
Tuesday presented a check for over $73,000 to the CRUDEM Foundation, a mission that
runs Hôpital Sacre´ Coeur (HSC), a hospital in Haiti that provides quality
healthcare to the sick and the poor in the Haitian community. To date, HSC has treated thousands of
earthquake victims and remains a beacon of hope as relief efforts
continue. The financial contribution
supplements Angelica's multiple linen donations since January's earthquake
totaling 15,000 pounds. The presentation
occurred in Boston at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, part of Caritas Christi Health
Care, another CRUDEM partner.
In a two-week fundraising drive, employees contributed over
$48,000, to which Angelica added a contribution of $25,000. Said CEO Steve O'Hara, "Late last year, before the tragedy, we donated 1,000 pounds of linen to CRUDEM. After the earthquake, we wanted to increase our efforts significantly, and I am proud that over 1,700 employees throughout the Angelica family opened their hearts to the victims of last month's
devastating earthquakes that struck Haiti. Everyone from our drivers to the workers who
sort our linen felt a very personal desire to help Haiti in this time of extreme
need."
